A great time to visit Edinburgh is during the Fringe Festival. At this Festival there are cabaret performances, children's shows, comedy acts, dance and physical theatre shows and workshops, events, exhibitions, music, musicals and opera, spoken word events, theatre events. to visit the website go to: https://edfringe.s3.amazonaws.com/downloads/Fringe_Programme_2012.pdf
Fun: 4 out of 5 there was not non-stop action as this is a city so it is quite smart and historic.
Food: 3 out of 5 I do not care for haggis so this Scottish cuisine was rather challenging for me apart from that there were delicious restaurants and food stands.
Luxury: 4 out of 5 This was a wonderful relaxing holiday and the Balmoral Hotel was wonderful. However it did not have palm trees and cocktails like Tabago.
Overall Score: 4 out of 5 i would thoroughly recommend this  holiday as it is a unique opportunity to discover the history and cuisine of Scotland.
